Bride

For those of you who dont know me, here is a quick breakdown.

My parents were born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky. I was born and raised in Nicholasville, Kentucky (just south of Lexington). I am the middle child, only daughter, and natural ginger. That is the recipe to my take-no-crap attitude but also dont-give-a-crap attitude. Its a fine balance.

I was always fairly active growing up. It started out with competitive gymnastics then transitioned to sprinting for my middle and high school track team. As an adult, I need to work on my diet and exercise game. I just LOVE pizza, donuts, all potatoes, all bread things, Mexican food, Dr. Pepper, and desserts too much to give them up.

Through a recent change in career, I went back to school and am now a licensed cosmetologist and work with the best ladies at a salon (Indigo Salon and Wellness) in downtown Lexington. I have been absolutely loving everything about it!

Netflix (and Prime) and chill is a real staple. All episodes of the Office, Parks and Rec, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, and Psych have been viewed more times than I can count. I also am a frequent moviegoer. Who doesnt love a big bucket of popcorn and soda.

Although my two adorable and slightly chubby bunnies are my best friends, I cant say the same about their relationship with each other. They hate each other so thats cool. They are very different in personality but both full of personality. Commander Chiko has been with me for 6 years and is 7 years old. Professor Theodore is 6 and joined us when he was a tiny baby who fit in my hand. I just couldn't say no. Best impulse purchase ever.

Traveling has always been a passion and I am so excited to have a travel partner! I havent been many places but I look forward to finding new adventures in new places.

Groom

Oh, hello there. How you doin' friend? So I'm Rick Sellnow, and I get to marry Sarah Tolliver soon which is super neat! Who knows how a guy like me convinces a lady like her to marry him! *frantic sounds of hoodoo love potion being quickly hidden* Have you ever been to New Orleans? Wonderful people down there. Don't mind me. Where were we then?

I'm a North Dakotan by birth, which means I come by my ghost-like complexion honestly. Growing up in a beautiful city like Fargo is wonderful for 6 months each year, but for the other 6 my fellow Dakotans and I are forced to live under the earth like mole people, huddling with our oxen for warmth. Or maybe that was Oregon Trail. I'm not really sure anymore. It's been a while. It's cool though because spending half my childhood indoors helped foster in me a keen love of board games, books, and... well... other places.

Enter Kentucky! My home away from home since 2008. I love scouring Lexington with Sarah for new local restaurants and spending money that I don't have at the myriad Art and Street Fairs that pop up around town. I also take any chance I can get to drive up to Cincinnati or over to Louisville to watch my local soccer clubs with friends or pop into a museum from time to time. I love any chance I can get to learn about and experience new places, people, and things and was elated when Sarah suggested we go abroad to get married! (Incidentally, if you know of any careers for amateur vexillologists shoot me an email... asking for a friend...). Most of all, however, we're both extremely excited to come back, share stories, and celebrate with all of you!

We both can't wait to see old faces and be introduced to new ones soon!
