Signature Club at Lansdowne

We are still uncertain of what our reception will look at this time. Kentucky is working very hard to get vaccines out to everyone as quickly as possible. Hopefully by April, we will have PLENTY of vaccinated people attending the reception. We are not requiring anyone to be vaccinated or to get tested before attending the reception. That is stressful for you and we don't want a bouncer at our reception door. We hope everyone is practicing safe behaviors in their personal lives such as not gathering with large groups, wearing their mask when in public, using hand sanitizer/handwashing,  and self isolating if feeling sick or have been potentially exposed to Covid. 

• We still plan on setting up the reception with social distancing in mind. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer and face masks available to be on the safe side. 
• I plan on having color coordinated bracelets available for everyone to wear upon entering to let those around you know if you have been vaccinated, if you are still being cautious, or if you would politely like to keep your distance from those not in your household. I hope this will help everyone feel comfortable to know who is approachable and who we can respect their personal space. Nothing more awkward than trying to hug or shake a hand of someone who doesn't want to be touched. 
• We were originally planning on having the food self serve but we will be asking Maria's Kitchen to be serving for us so there is less contact with the food and serving utensils. The plates, utensils, and drinkware will all be disposable.
• I have plenty if disposable masks that will be available for anyone to use. In Kentucky, masks are not required for private events even if it is hosted in a public venue. At this time, I am giving everyone the option to wear one or not wear one since so many will have been vaccinated at that point. 

• If you would like to avoid larger groups at this time, we will be having a "Drive Through" greeting at the Signature Club from 1- 3pm on 4/17/21. If you would prefer this option instead of the 6pm reception please write "Drive Through" in the notes of your RSVP. The signatire club has a valet drive so we will be under the valet port outside the front of the building.

If you have any additional accommodation requests or questions, we want to make sure everyone feels safe if you are wanting to attend, so please reach out to me and ask away! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to us this past year to check on us. I won't lie, it sucked having to cancel and reschedule everything but we are grateful to still be employed, safe, and healthy!

We will have a photobooth, music, and games so there will be plenty to do in addition to enjoying delicious food. We will be catering from a local authentic mexican restaurant, Maria's Kitchen. We are excited to share our love of Mexican food and no better way than Maria's Kitchen; best mexican food around hands down! She will also be making our tres leches wedding cake and it is to die for.

We were originally going to head downstairs to the Cellar Bar and Grille for an after party. With Covid restrictions and wanting to have a little more control of our environment, we will be having it in the same area as the reception at the Signature Club. We will have an exit where Rick and I "leave" so we can change clothes and let those with children or early bed times head out. We will have a DJ and limited alcolol provided by Marias Kitchen available. We do need to vacate the venue and have everything cleaned up by midnight at the very latest.

***Our reception venue will be alcohol free and kid friendly! If you would like to enjoy a Kentucky Mule or a Mint Julip to celebrate Kentucky and the Derby, you are more than welcome to walk downstairs and order a drink from the Cellar Bar and Grille (where we are heading after the reception for our after-party). Please know the Cellar and the Signautre Club are both very strict the drinks must stay downstairs.
